Nov 19. State policy for economic and social development of the northern regions of Russia and execution of the president’s tasks are to be discussed at a Duma meeting to be held today by the presidential envoy in the Far East Federal District Oleg Safonov. As reported by the Department of Migration and Information Policy of the presidential envoy office, Oleg Safonov holds meetings with representatives of ministries, agencies, members of both chambers of the Russian parliament and social organizations on a monthly basis. Spokespersons of the government, the Duma and the Federation Council from the Far East regions are expected to attend the meeting.
