Nov 19. The State Duma will hear at its plenary meeting on November 19 ministerial reports on measures designed to strengthen the national economy. The ministers are to deliver reports as part of the “government” hour on the topic “On Results of Management of Monetary Funds of the Stabilization Fund of the Russian Federation, International Currency Reserves of the Bank of Russia and the National Welfare Fund and Measures Taken by the Russian Government to Stabilize the Situation in the National Economy”. Reports are to be delivered by Vice PM and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina, CBR Chairman Sergey Ignatiev and Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade Andrey Dementiev. In addition, the State Duma will address in the second reading a draft law which sets forth the procedure for the assignment of mortgage rights. The draft law aims to streamline the procedure for assigning large pools of mortgages.
