July 24. Gazprom's BoD has authorized a RUB 111.53 bn increase in the company's investment program for 2008 to RUB 821.66 bn, earlier approved by the company's board. The increase was carried out according to the investment program approved in December 2007. The volume of capital investments rose by RUB 51.78 bn to RUB 531.2 bn, while the long-term investment program was raised by RUB 29.75 bn to RUB 290.46 bn. In line with the company's budget statement, its total revenues and cash earnings advanced by RUB 311 bn to RUB 3.23 trillion. The volume of financial borrowings was not changed and should amount to RUB 90 bn, while the cash surplus should equal RUB 1.7 bn.
