July, 18. Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) offered a plan to establish International Financial Center (IFC) in Moscow. The formation of a "gas OPEC" in Moscow, a merger of the largest Russian stock exchanges and the acquisition by this "mega stock exchange" of key trading venues in Europe (Germany, Sweden) and Asia (Kazakhstan and Vietnam) will help establish IFC in Moscow, RUIE experts believe. The union has prepared business offers on the IFC formation concept which the Economic Development Ministry is developing now. RUIE has proposed to make provisions in IFC formation program for three long-term development scenarios: innovation, extensive and inertia.
