July 16. Vice PM and Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin was re-elected as the chairman of VTB Supervisory Board, the bank said in a press release. In addition, the bank's supervisory board addressed and approved statutes on VTB information and dividend payouts policies. The statute on the dividend payouts policy is developed to establish transparent and clear for shareholders decision-making mechanism on dividend payouts at VTB, to determine the amount, procedure and timeframe to pay them. The statute is based on the following principles: balance of interests of the bank and its shareholders when the amount of dividend payouts is determined, observance of rights of shareholders provided for by the legislation and the bank's internal documents, improving the bank's investment appeal as an efficiency criterion of the dividend payout policy. The information policy targets implementation of a set of measures to disclose information about the bank to shareholders, potential investors, journalists and professional securities market participants. VTB has pledged to post the documents on its website in the nearest future.
